EVANS

My grandfather's cousin, Edward Albert BEER (Bert) married Harriet Maud EVANS (Maud), in Ystradgynlais, S.Wales, in 1913. With the help of a contact in Ystrad we have been able to trace their descendants in Australia (they were living in Toowoomba at the time Bert was killed in 1917), and also some information on her ancestors.  Her father, David EVANS, was a foundry owner.

The last surviving descendent of this family visited England in 2002 and we were able to meet up for a few hours.
